Dr. Katharine "Kate" Marcks, D.M.D.
Biography
Dr. Kate Marcks completed her undergraduate education at Boston College, after which she worked in neuroscience research for the US Department of Agriculture prior to returning to school.
She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the University of Connecticut. While in Pittsburgh, PA for her husband's medical residency, she completed a General Practice Residency at Allegheny General Hospital, providing dentistry for patients with complex medical needs. She returned to Boston to complete a three-year orthodontic residency at Boston University, where she received her Master's Degree.
Dr. Marcks is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Marcks lives on the South Shore with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys distance running and has completed 3 full marathons and more than 30 half marathons. She is a music lover and an irrationally optimistic Patriots fan!
