COVID-19 Update

March 1, 2022 To our valued Patients & Families,
COVID-19 will become part of our everyday lives as the virus moves from a pandemic toward becoming endemic. The good news is that as more Massachusetts residents have become vaccinated and receive the recommended booster shots, we can begin returning to our daily pre-pandemic routines. While that return to “normalcy” is exciting and welcome, and restrictions begin to ease, we want to reassure our patients and families that we will remain focused on the safety and cleanliness of our facility, as well as the health of our patients and staff.
We will continue to follow the guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) as it pertains to health care facilities:
· We are continuing to limit the capacity inside of our building. We are continuing to allow one parent or guardian to accompany a patient under the age of 18 into the building.
· Face coverings or masks are required inside our practice for all patients, families, employees, and vendors. This is a current mandate from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
· We will continue to use text communication for the check-in process. If you have not provided our front desk staff with a mobile phone number to communicate via text message, we ask that you update your records with our Patient Relations team. Our clinic team may also use that number to communicate information about your child’s dental care, to schedule follow-up visits or request payment for services if you chose not to come into the building during the appointment.
· We will continue to conduct a COVID pre-screening questionnaire for all patients prior to entering the building. While this questionnaire is in paper form today, it will move to electronic format in the coming months.
As updated guidance from the CDC and the Massachusetts DPH evolve, we will revise our procedures accordingly. In the meantime, should you have any questions or concerns prior to, during or after your visit, please give us a call and our Patient Relations team will assist you.
We look forward to seeing you at your next dental appointment!
